Towson Library, 320 York Rd., Towson, MD 21204, Lower Level Meeting Room

Main Program:

Bruce D. Marsh, Professor       website: http://www.jhu.edu/~eps/faculty/marsh/    Email: bmarsh@jhu.edu

Bruce will enlighten us on how he uses Apple's computers in his line of work. Talk about our work on magma and how Macs are used for our research in numerical modeling, illustrations, and image processing of rock textures.

For more information go to Bruce's website listed above.

A special thanks to Bruce Marsh for taking time out of his busy schedule to show us how he uses the Apple line of computers in his work. Bruce also told us about some of his expeditions. It was very interesting to learn about an area of the world (Antarctica) that most of us know nothing about. The Slide show that Bruce presented at the end of his presentation of one of his expeditions in Antarctica were fantastic.

Thanks again
